Leslie G. Brand III
Leslie G. Brand III is the Chief Executive Officer of Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. (SCS), a global supply chain and transportation management solutions company headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He also serves on SCS's board of directors. Les is the President of the West Michigan Chapter of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and is involved in various community and industry organizations including the Grand Rapids and Holland Chambers of Commerce. Les has a passion and proven success for bringing an experienced team of Supply Chain Solutions associates together with his clients to achieve impressive supply chain improvements that create measurable and sustainable business value.

Rob Burch, Supply Chain Solutions Executive Board member has held key management roles with SCS since July 2011. He has over 25 years of executive leadership experience in private, public and private equity capital structures.
Rob has developed strong customer relationships to achieve top line growth for targeted products and customers and has a keen understanding of the relationships between the product or service and commercial and supply chain parts of the business and how those results are reflected in the financial model.
He has a BBA from the University of Michigan.

Jim is the President and a founder of Supply Chain Solutions. Over his career, he has led major supply chain initiatives both globally and domestically for Fortune 500 enterprises including Steelcase, Whirlpool, PolyOne, John Deere, and Dell.
As a supply chain management professional he has experience in designing, implementing and operating inventory and distribution, global and domestic transportation and supply chain management.
Under Jim’s guidance the organization continues to develop innovative tools and process improvements that enable his clients to greatly improve cash-to-cash cycle time, while optimizing logistic processes in procurement, inventory control, warehousing, distribution and transportation.

Dave Whittaker is Chief Operating Officer and joined SCS in 2012. His focus is global supply chain and logistics strategy, asset management and process improvement across multiple industries. This includes automotive, agricultural, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical and manufacturing.
Dave draws on more than 20 years of supply chain experience including logistics network planning and optimization, distribution operations, transportation, ERP business process transformation, inventory management and logistics information systems. He has designed, implemented and managed the processes, people, and technology for a multi-site North American distribution network. Dave is a seasoned negotiator of multi-million dollar contracts for warehouse operations and transportation services.
Dave received his BS in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.

Vandana is Vice President of Global Trade Management for Supply Chain Solutions. She joined SCS in 2013 with the acquisition of Vanik International, Inc., of which she was president since 1994.
She has worked with clients large and small to analyze current supply chains, determine opportunities, and implement improvements.
Vandana has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science & Minor in Economics: University of Illinois – Chicago.

Terry is Vice President of Customs Administration for supply chain shipping. He has more than 40 years of experience helping organizations with import and export strategy.
A licensed customs broker, Terry worked for W.R. Philbin from 1964 to 2008 before joining SCS. He provided all the services of a Customs Broker with an emphasis on compliance.

Michee Vrtis-Becker joined Supply Chain Solutions in 2007 and is the Application Architect Manager. She has a degree in computer engineering with 12 years of experience developing solutions for a variety of industries. This breadth of experience gives her a unique perspective on creating solutions and increasing efficiencies for SCS and its clients.
Before joining SCS, Michee worked for Smiths Industries (now GE Aerospace) and Greenville Tool & Die.

Kendra Townsend is Vice President of Client Solutions for Supply Chain Solutions.
Kendra joined SCS in 2002 and has experience and expertise in all facets of the company, including operations, finance and information technology. In her role as Client Solutions Director, she oversees client relationships, working to ensure SCS provides a high level of service to each its clients.
Before joining SCS, she spent 14 years at Ryder Transportation in customer service and sales.
She is pursuing a degree in International Finance from Grand Valley State University and belongs to the Michigan Lean Consortium, Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, Steelcase Lean Network and West Michigan World Trade Association.
