Volunteer and Give Back | Lexie Lynn at Kid’s Food Basket

In the spirit of our core values, SCS encourages staff members to participate in volunteer opportunities by giving back to the communities in which we live and work. The firm recognizes that participating in these activities supports and enhances our communities, and also enriches the lives of staff members.

Here’s what Lexie, our Accounting Manager, had to say about volunteering at the Kid’s Food Basket:

I had a great time volunteering at Kid’s Food Basket yesterday! I worked on the assembly line packing lunches with two other people. I tried to count, and I think our line must have packed around 300 sack lunches! Collectively, I believe my shift packed around 1,500 lunches. We finished early and worked on sorting apples and crating them for the next shift. I had an awesome experience and would consider volunteering there regularly. Hopefully I can round up some more people to go with me the next time!
